Terms of Service

We build a preview of a website for your business, a working version of your site on a temporary link, at no cost, using publicly available information about your business (such as your Google Business Profile). There is no obligation to purchase anything. Previews are usually ready the same day, and always within 2 business days of your request. The preview link expires and the preview is taken down 7 days after it’s delivered, or sooner if you ask us to remove it.

If you decide to keep your site, it runs on the Website Management Plan — $297/month. Your website stays live and managed, with monthly minor updates, a text-back when you miss a call, review requests, website chat, and appointment booking. No contract. Cancel anytime.

The Website Management Plan is $297 per month, billed automatically each month until you cancel. There is no contract and no cancellation fee. To cancel, text or call (302) 407-0950 or email billing@digitalhandyman.co. Cancellation stops your next renewal; your service, including your website, stays active through the end of the month you’ve already paid for. We don’t offer refunds or prorated credits for partial months.

Your domain name, logo, photos, business information and reviews always belong to you. On the Website Management Plan, the website, hosting and tools (chat, missed-call text-back, review requests and booking) are provided as part of the monthly service. This section applies to short message service (SMS) and text messages sent by Digital Handyman to individuals who have provided their mobile number and consented to receive messages — for example, by submitting an opt-in through the website chat widget, web form, keyword, or other opt-in method. If you opt in to receive such messages, the following terms apply to you:

Program description. Digital Handyman provides SMS and text messaging as part of its services to send you updates about the free website preview, delivery status, and follow-up about keeping your site live (“Digital Handyman SMS Updates”).

Opt-out. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply “STOP” to the number you received messages from. After you send “STOP,” we will send a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive SMS messages. If you want to join again, sign up as you did the first time and messages will resume.

Help. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or email info@digitalhandyman.co.

Carrier liability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message frequency and rates. Message frequency is up to 5 messages, sent over the course of about 2 weeks, depending on your interaction with us. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you and from you. If you have questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

Privacy. We do not share or sell your SMS opt-in information or phone number to third parties for marketing purposes. For more information, see the Privacy Policy.

Data retention. SMS opt-in consent records and associated phone number data are retained for 5 years from the date consent is collected, in line with standard telemarketing recordkeeping practice.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information you provide (business name, services, service area, phone number, email, and any images or assets). You confirm that you have the rights to use any content or assets you provide, and that providing them does not violate any applicable law or third-party right.

Digital Handyman provides websites and related systems on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees of specific business results, additional calls, leads, or revenue. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services is limited to the amount, if any, you have paid us.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the updated Terms will be posted on the site with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the services after changes are posted confirms your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that part will be severed and the remaining provisions will stay in full effect.
